Keratix Solution 25% Salicilico 3 G + 36 Patches
Localized hyperkeratoxic states with excessive flaking, thick stratum corneum, such as calluses, nails, seborheic keratosis, hyperkeratoxic warts, etc.
Indicated for treatment of localized skin hyperkeratosis. Localized hyperkerosic states with excessive flaking and/or thick stratum corneum, such as calluses or tilosis, helomas or nails, seborheic keratosis, hyperkerosic warts, etc.
Hyperkeratosis consists of an increase in the thickness of the stratum corneum (the outer outerest layer of the skin) caused by excessive cohesion of cornea cells or corneocytes. Hyperkeratosis can have different locations and degrees of intensity.
Contains 25% salicylic acid solution, along with adhesive patches to exert an occlusive effect and achieve a high-powered keratolytic action that helps derail the excessive cornea layer in hyperkeratotic skin disorders by dissolving cement
intercellular that joins the cornea scales, making it easier for them to detach.
A small amount of the solution should be applied using the brush in the hyperkeratosic area, avoiding contact with the healthy skin around it.
Wait a few moments for it to dry (1-2 minutes), the appearance of a whitish layer indicates drying and then the adhesive patch should be placed on top to achieve the desired occlusion effect.
If necessary, trim the patch to fit the size of the area to be treated.
Before re-applying the next night, remove the patch and clean the area with a hardness file or scraper to remove exfoliated tissue (it is easier to do so when the skin is softened after showering).
The solution is left to work with the adhesive patch placed overnight. If you want to boost the action you can keep the patch throughout the day. This process is repeated daily until localized hyperkeratosis is eliminated.
If for any reason (shower, shoe change, etc.) the patch comes off or moves, remove or replace it with a new one.
An appreciable improvement usually occurs during the first few days of treatment, and a full resolution can be expected after a period of between 3 and 6 weeks of treatment.
Do not ingest. External use.
Do not apply to children under 2 years of age. In children apply under the supervision of an adult. Do not apply to wounds, genitals, mucous membranes, or near the eyes. Use with caution in diabetic patients or with peripheral circulation disturbances.
In case of an irritative phenomenon, discontinue applications.
