Gaviscon Forte 12 Envelopes 10 Ml
It belongs to the group of medicines called other agents against gastroesophageal reflux. It works in two different ways:
- Sodium alginate along with sodium hydrogencarbonate (bicarbonate) and calcium carbonate form a protective barrier in the stomach to prevent gastric reflux by soothing burning in the stomach mouth.
- Sodium hydrogencarbonate (bicarbonate) and calcium carbonate further neutralize excess acid in the stomach.
Gaviscon Forte is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of stomach hyperacidity and burning caused by acidic reflux of the stomach in adults and children over 12 years of age. You should see a doctor if it gets worse or if it doesn't get better after 7 days
