2. What you need to know before you start taking GINKGO ARKOPHARMA
Do not take GINKGO ARKOPHARMA
If you are allergic to the active substance or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
Warnings and precautions
If you have to have surgery, this medication should be discontinued at least 2 weeks before.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking GINKGO ARKOPHARMA.
Taking GINKGO ARKOPHARMA with other medications
It may enhance the effect of antiplatelet agents.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines.
Taking GINKGO ARKOPHARMA with food and drink
Food and beverages have no influence on the effect of the medicine.
Pregnancy and Lactation
There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women, or breast-feeding so administration is not recommended.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, talk to your pharmacist or doctor before using this medicine.

3. How to take GINKGO ARKOPHARMA
Always take the medicine exactly as shown in this leaflet or as instructed by your pharmacist or doctor. If in doubt, ask your pharmacist or doctor.
The recommended dose is:
Adults: take 2 capsules for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a glass of water.
This medicine is used orally.
For optimal effect a treatment of 6-8 weeks is recommended.
Use in children and adolescents
Do not use in children under 18 years of age, without consulting your pharmacist or doctor.
If you take more GINKGO ARKOPHARMA than you should
No cases of overdose with GINKGO have been reported ARKOPHARMA.
In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, consult your pharmacist or doctor immediately or call the Toxicological Information Service, telephone 91 562 04 20, indicating the product and the amount ingested.
If you forgot to take GINKGO ARKOPHARMA
In case of forgetting a dose, take the medicine as soon as possible by continuing the treatment as prescribed. However, if the next dose is near, it is best not to take the missed dose and wait for the next dose. Under no circumstances take a double dose to make up for forgotten doses.
4. Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.
These side effects are usually mild and transient; in some cases allergies or skin hypersensitivity, headache and gastrointestinal disorders (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea) may occur. Cases of bleeding have been reported especially in patients taking medications containing Ginkgo extracts along with anticoagulant or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications.

5. Conservation of GINKGO ARKOPHARMA
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not store above 30oC.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton after the abbreviation EXP? The expiration date is the last day of the specified month.
Medicines should not be flushed down drains or into trash. Deposit the containers and medicines you don't need at the Sigre Point at the pharmacy. If in doubt, ask your pharmacist how to get rid of medicines you don't need. In this way, it will help protect the environment.

Composition of GINKGO ARKOPHARMA
Each capsule contains as an active substance: 180 mg of cryomolited leaves of Ginkgo biloba L (Ginkgo).
The other ingredients are excipients: gelatin (capsule cover).
